By using Womegle, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

Womegle is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older. By entering the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Users who misrepresent their age are solely responsible for any consequences.

Womegle is not responsible for users who provide false age information. We take reasonable steps to verify age at entry and reserve the right to ban any user suspected of being under 18.

2. Prohibited Content & Behaviour

The following are strictly prohibited on Womegle:

Any content involving minors in a sexual context (CSAM) — zero tolerance, immediate permanent ban and report to authorities
Nudity, explicit sexual content, or adult material of any kind
Harassment, threats, bullying, or intimidation
Hate speech based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality, or disability
Sharing links to harmful, illegal, or malicious content
Impersonation of any person or entity
Spam, advertising, or promotional content
Grooming, solicitation, or predatory behaviour
Any activity that violates Indian law or the laws of the user's jurisdiction

3. Child Safety (CSAM)

Womegle has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any user found sharing, soliciting, or distributing CSAM will be immediately and permanently banned and reported to relevant authorities including cybercrime.gov.in and NCMEC. We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies on all such matters.

4. Anonymous Nature of the Platform

Womegle is an anonymous platform. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number. You are identified only by an anonymous token stored in your browser.

While we take steps to protect user safety, we cannot verify the identity of any user. Use the platform at your own discretion.

5. Reporting & Moderation

Users can report other users for violations. Reports are reviewed by our team. We reserve the right to ban users based on reports, patterns of behaviour, or our own assessment.

False or malicious reports may result in reduced reporting privileges or a ban. Our moderation decisions are final.

6. Platform Safety Features

Womegle provides the following safety features:

Report button during every conversation
Progressive ban system for repeated violations
Women-first dashboard — women choose who they connect with
Age verification at entry
Bot protection via hCaptcha

7. Limitation of Liability

Womegle is an intermediary platform under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We are not responsible for content created or shared by users.

Womegle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to conversations with strangers, emotional distress, or exposure to offensive content.

8. Intellectual Property

The Womegle name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of Womegle. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any user at any time, for any reason, including violations of these Terms. Banned users may appeal via our appeal system.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Womegle after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
